The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, along with its Public Sector Undertaking, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), organized Global Bio-India (GBI) 2023 from December 4-6, 2023, at Bharat Mandapam & Hall No. 14, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The theme of GBI-2023 was “Transforming Lives-Biosciences to Bioeconomy.” The event, supported by Industry Associations and Invest India, focused on the ‘Biotech Innovation Ecosystem’ and ‘Bio-manufacturing.’
Subbu delivered an insightful session titled “Harnessing the Unlimited Opportunities of Smart Proteins in India,” where he explored the immense potential and transformative impact of smart proteins in the country’s future at the event.
